  A Toolkit for Community Planning

Helping each other to plan our future

This Toolkit supports local government in Queensland, by supplying a consistent set of tools to engage communities and develop effective community plans. It includes descriptions of community planning, how community plans relate to other planning processes, “how to” information and templates and examples, resources and reference material. It supports the internal capacity of Councils, increasing the skills and confidence of staff and Councillors to engage with their communities and make it easier for councils to develop and implement community plans. The Toolkit was developed by Jim Cavaye, for the QLGCSA, with support from the State Government.
